(The Cottage Life Show is THE show for cottagers. It has over 600 exhibitors showing boats, docks builders, contractors, innovative building products, green solutions, decor and style, arts and crafts, food and entertaining, water toys and of course Lakeside Architecture!

It is a four day show but chances are that you will only be there for a few hours. How do you make those hours count? Read on below on my tips and tricks to get the most out of the Spring 2023 Cottage Life Show.

Be Prepared!

To get the most out of the Cottage Life Show it is important to first establish why you are attending in the first place and then establish a strategy for getting the information or products you are interested in before the Show.

I suggest that you research the Show and get to know the exhibitors; discover what seminars are scheduled and what products are being offered. Do your research and create a list of exhibitors you want to see and talk to and decide how much time you want to spend talking with them. For products, be prepared to provide a deposit or schedule a site visit. There are often Cottage Life Show discounts available. Set appointments

If necessary, set appointments as early as possible to make sure you won’t miss the chance to talk with all the exhibitors you want. Once you’ve set the appointments, you can plan the entire day accordingly. Of course, you can set appointments at the Show, but if possible, make all the arrangements before the Show. Get a map

Get a map of the Show. Use the map so that you can prioritize your route without wasting precious time searching for a certain booth – this can be really exhausting. The Spring Cottage Life Show is divided into two halls so planning your time and your route is essential.

(Visit us at Booth 1542 in Hall #2 of course).

Attend the Main Stage Presentations and the Workshops

The Cottage Life Show is a great opportunity to learn new things as they are packed with seminars, workshops and Q&A sessions.

Extra tips:

Most of all have fun – yes, enjoy yourself!
